The Edinburgh Academical Football Club, the oldest Rugby Club in Scotland, welcomes new players of all levels and new social members into the Club. Accies regularly turn out six teams on a Saturday - the 1XV in Scottish Hydro Premier 1, 2XV in Reserve Leagues National 1, Blues XV in Reserve Leagues East 1, Whites XV in the Reserve League East 3 and the U20 in the Canterbury League. Our Classics XV plays regular social fixtures throughout the season to meet the needs of their aging legs! There is also Edinburgh BATs Rugby and a strong Accies Mini section, which between them cover rugby for young people from 5 to 18 - for more details please visit the Mini and Youth Rugby page.

The social scene at Raeburn Place has one of the best reputations in town, with regular events being held in the clubhouse throughout the season. Overseas tours in recent seasons included one to Biella in Italy. Thanks to our association with Festival Inns, our members enjoy privileges at some of the best nightspots in Edinburgh including the Three Sisters, Beluga and Faith.

Membership also currently offers the opportunity to purchase international tickets (for home and away), and free use of the clubhouse for private functions (subject to availability and the stringent new Licensing Laws!!!).
