Edinburgh Accies Mini Section - P1-P7:
New season starts Sunday August 26th... come along and join in....!
Are you interested in rugby? At school in P1 - P7? Well why not
get involved in mini-rugby?
Edinburgh Accies mini-rugby meets from the end of August through
to April, on Sundays at Raeburn Place, between 1pm and 2.30pm. We
welcome boys and girls to come along and join in this fun, exhilarating,
team sport.
P1 and P2 are taken through at a gentle pace, introducing them to

game and have the opportunity to play against other mini-rugby teams.
P4 to P7 continue to widen their skills and compete in regular tournaments
and Accies have had a fantastic start to this season. View or download

Edinburgh BATS Rugby – Youth (12-19) Rugby: |
 |
RUGBY FOR ALL - in the north Edinburgh community |
For young people aged 12 to 19 the club also provides
a youth section through Edinburgh BATS Rugby which uses Edinburgh
Accies, Broughton and Trinity Accies clubs as their base depending
on the age group.
As well as the three rugby clubs BATS are very pleased to have a partnerships with The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland, Telford College, Active Schools and the SRU. Between them they compliment and help deliver BATS plans in the north Edinburgh community at three high schools new to rugby, 19 primary schools and the five BATS teams.
BATS will run one or more teams at each age group S1, S2, U15, U16, and U18 plus teams to cater for females where needed. For the first three months of a season a school leavers XV will be formed and throughout the season a BATS development team, using players from all three clubs, will play in the 3rd XV leagues.
BATS has over 100 players attending coaching/training sessions and
playing regular competitive games for the BATS teams - as friendlies
or in the youth leagues. The BATS S1 and S2 train and play on Sundays
at their base at Broughton's ground Wardie. The U15s and U16s train
on Wednesday evenings at 6.00 and play their games on Sundays -
they are based at Raeburn Place. Finally the U18s train on Tuesday
and Thursday evenings at 6.30pm and play their games on Saturdays
– again they are based at Raeburn Place. The club kit is black shirts,
shorts and socks with a striking BATS logo on the shirt.
