Livingston Mini Rugby Tournament, Sunday 1 May

Last Sunday P5 were runners-up at the Livingston Mini Rugby Tournament. The team started strongly in the pool stage with convincing wins over Linlithgow and Royal High. They then faced a very good Marr team, who were strong in all aspects of the game. The Accies team played superbly and the match ended in a 3 all draw, with Marr scoring a try in the last play of the game to deny Accies the win. Accies then faced Preston Lodge and delivered another convincing victory. On a try count Accies proceeded to the final, where they faced another Linlithgow team. The children acquitted themselves well but lost 4-2 to the Linlithgow team, who seized their opportunities on the counterattack to great effect. Well done to everyone involved.
