BATs' October Camp
This year BATs are running two camps in the October break: one for primary school children and one for those at senior school. Both camps will run on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 October, from 10.00-15.30. The camps are open to ALL children - previous experience of playing rugby is not necessary.
Primary Camp, P1-P7
Active, purposeful, enjoyable and safe
The camps are good fun with lots of rugby activities provided by a variety of different coaches, many of whom play with the Accies' senior teams. Children will learn new skills and have the chance to make some new friends, while learning the importance of values associated with team sports, such as team work, discipline and fitness.
Secondary Skills Camp, S1-S6
Speed development, position-specific skills, pyhsical development and nutrition workshop
The secondary school camps will be more focused on player development across speed, positional skills and physical development. There will also be a nutrition workshop in order to help players learn about this essential element for fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
If you are looking for activities for your child(ren) during the October break, the BATs rugby camp could be the answer.
