Attendance at the Wednesday night sessions continues to grow. The level of effort and skills from the boys is very encouraging. The Wednesday sessions will run every week at Raeburn Place from 18.30-19.30 for S1-U18s, providing training and fun. All abilities are welcome and we look forward to seeing you all.
There was no training on Sunday morning because of the September holiday and to give the boys a rest as they have been training hard for the past month. This Sunday the S1s have an away match against Lismore.
Trinity Academy: This week saw our MA, Ben Appleson, run his first high school session when he took the S2s. The session was based around offloading and the players really enjoyed it while working hard and under pressure. They took away some key points and things to work on, which is great to see.
There were no school games for Trinity last Saturday, due to the September holiday, but the boys are back in action this weekend, with games against Preston Lodge.
BATs’ MA Ben Appleson taking his first S2 group at Trinity Academy School of Rugby
Flora Stevenson: This was the last week for our current delivery to the P6 and P7 classes at Flora Stevenson Primary School. Our time spent working with the different year groups has been really beneficial and we hope to return to the school with more provision later in the year.
This year BATs will be holding two camps in the October break: one for P1-P7 and one for S1-S6. The camps will both be at Raeburn Place from 10.00-15.30 on 18 & 19 October. The costs are £10 per day for the primary camp and £15 per day for the secondary skills camps.
