Hire our Facilities

As you can see from the Clubhouse Development page, the Clubhouse is to be entirely rebuilt. The old Clubhouse, parts of which dated back to the mid-1850s, was recently completely demolished. It served many generations well, but was well beyond its sell-by date. It will be replaced by an entirely new clubhouse, towards the northern boundary of the ground, construction of which should start in 2010-11 (current plans are out for public consultation as part of the planning process - click here for further details).

In the interim period, the Club will function from a temporary clubhouse and changing rooms, on the western boundary of the ground. Accordingly, whilst the ground will remain available for hire during the construction period, the facility for functions will depend on the circumstances at the current time.

Hire of Raeburn Place Facilities

All the facilities at The Edinburgh Academical Football Club are available for hire, to members and non-members:

• The rugby pitches
• The ground for other sports e.g. softball etc
• The ground for social events e.g. a BBQ
