Fixtures - 4 & 5 May

Kelso 7s, Poynder Park, from 13:00
Kelso 7s follows the knock-put format favoured by so many of the Kings tournaments. This week our first round tie is against Selkirk and should be played at around 15:20. If we are successful, we will then take on the winner of Hawick v Jedforest in the third quarter-final.

Accies Vets v XV de l'Art'Rose, Raeburn Place, 11:30
Our Vets welcome French veterans XV de l'Art'Rose to Raeburn Place tomorrow morning for what promises to be a highly entertaining game of rugby. The French side's website would indicate they are a spirited group, who will want to give our 'old crocks' a run for their money. That said, Accies are fielding a stellar squad, with no less than two former Scottish internationals and many great names from the Club's annals pulling on their boots to show the French how it is done. We expect much entertainment...

Both the game and the bar kick off at 11:30. Please come along to support our squad and show the French some warm Scottish hospitality. #auldalliance

Earlston 7s, The Haugh, from 13:00
Back-to-back tournaments are a tough ask at this stage in the season, especially when we are already suffering from so many injuries, but we know the squad will give their all. We will play Duns at 14:48 on Sunday, in the penultimate tie of the first round. A win would then pit us against either the hosts or Gala YM.

Squad for Earlston will be posted on social media before Sunday.

BATs U15 v London Scottish U15, Raeburn Place, 11:30
Following a highly successful U13 international festival last Saturday, this Sunday sees the BATs U15s host a cross-border match against London Scottish, who are in Scotland for their annual May Day bank holiday end of season tour. This is the final game of the season for BATs U15s too and we hope it will be an exciting fixture for both sides.

Kick off is at 11:30 and all spectators are welcome. Hot drinks and home baking will be available in the clubhouse.
