Match Preview NL12: Marr v Accies

Saturday 10 December, Fullarton Park, 2pm

Last week's win against Aberdeen put us a fraction further ahead of Marr, who also had a bonus point win against Musselburgh. We are still equal on points, now 50 each, but we are better off by three on points difference. We won the opening match of the season against Marr 26-20, but Marr have an unbeaten home record of nearly two years. The scene is indeed set for a thrilling game away to Marr on Saturday.

Coach's Comments

"Paul Loudon makes his first league start for us for six and a half years, after impressing off the bench last weekend. Alex Glashan returns to scrum half and Robbie Chalmers returns to the starting line-up, after playing sevens in Dubai last weekend. Our forward line up stays the same apart from Callum Black and Connor Weetman trading places. We are delighted to welcome Andrew Bell and Lawrie Seydak (both unavailable last week due to work) back to the bench this weekend and we will be looking for a real impact from them.

"It would be easy to get caught up in the outcome of this weekend but we simply see it as part of the process. It is an opportunity to benchmark where we are and where we have come this season, against a team that has not lost at home in 20 months.

"Our approach will not deviate from our basic DNA and our unquestionable work rate. The rest, I am sure, will take care of itself."
