Match Preview Prem 10: Accies v Jed-Forest

Saturday 30 November
1st XV v Jed-Forest 1st XV, New Field, 14:00
We are back at New Field again this week, where we welcome Jed-Forest in what we hope will be better weather conditions than last Saturday.

Our first encounter this season down at Jedburgh was a nerve-wracking affair. We were winning 33-7 with 60 minutes played, then we went down to 14 men due to a second yellow card for the same player and Jed took full advantage of the situation, playing themselves back into the game and keeping our supporters on edge to the final whistle. We scored another try and managed to hold their final attack at bay to win 38-33, but it was a close-run thing. With 11 tries in total, it was definitely exciting and we hope for more of the same this week.

Coach's comments
"We have some enforced changes this week as a result of injuries following last Saturday’s attritional game. In the pack we welcome back Shaun Gunn from Southern Knights and Chris Thomson from holiday. The backs see some positional changes, with Robert Wilson moving to 15."

1st XV v Jed-Forest

2nd XV v Jed-Forest A, Raeburn Place, 14:00
The 2s will change in Inverleith Park and play at Raeburn Place again this week. Following their exciting match against Boroughmuir last week, they will be looking to replicate their win against Jed earlier in the season, but will not be taking anything for granted.

3rd XV v Watsonian 3rd XV, Myreside, 14:00
We were delighted to get three teams out last week and hope The Entertainers will have another good run out up at Myreside on Saturday.

Onwards & upwards!
