Match Preview Prem 10: Accies v Jed-Forest - rescheduled

Saturday 21 December
1st XV v Jed-Forest, Raeburn Place, 14:00
It is only three weeks since our scheduled fixture against Jed-Forest was postponed due to frozen pitches, but the rugby landscape has changed in that time, with Jed winning their last two games. They - like us - will remember that they narrowed our healthy lead down there earlier in the season and almost stole the game. There is no doubt, therefore, that they will definitely come to Raeburn Place with their tales up on Saturday. We will be ready for them!

There is no denying this is a crunch match for us, so it would be great to have as many people down as possible to lend their vocal support to the team.

The game is at Raeburn Place and access is via the car park entrance at the bottom of Portgower Place. Match entry will be charged at £10 full price and £5 for concessions (with valid ID). As the car park is in use by the contractor, unfortunately there is NO parking for players or spectators in the ground.

Please note our post-match hospitality will still be at the Dean Bowling Club (click here for directions).

Coach's comments
"Callum Ramm and Jamie Loomes return to the backline this week, with Robert Wilson moving to the wing. In the pack, Ross McConnell gets a well-deserved start and Cameron Bain drops down to the bench, with Callum Black returning to the match day squad for the first time this season.

"Games don’t get bigger than this weekend for us. We need to start righting some of the wrongs and we have shown when we get into the opposition half we can score points."
