Match Preview Prem 8: Glasgow Hawks v Accies

Saturday 16 November
1st XV v Glasgow Hawks, Balgray, 14:00
Our last away game for the 1st XV until January, sees us head west to Balgray to meet Glasgow Hawks. Hawks are just three points behind us in the league and they almost replicated our draw against league-leaders Marr last Saturday, eventually losing by just one point but depriving Marr of a bonus point. They will be keen to build on that performance so we should be in for an exciting encounter.

Coach's comments
"Our penultimate game on the road for this season and we are well aware of the physical challenge that Glasgow Hawks will pose.

"We have some changes to the pack with David Anderson, Cameron Bain and Patrick O’Sullivan coming into the front row, second row and back row respectively. Our backline has a settled look to it, with Mark Sinclair returning to the bench along with Richard Mill, who was in Spain with Scotland 7s last weekend."

2nd XV v Biggar 2nd XV, Raeburn Place, 14:00
The 2s welcome Biggar to Raeburn Place. With only seven league points separating us (although we have a game in hand), this will be a challenging game.

3rd XV v Kelso A, Inverleith Park, 14:00
The 3s will host Kelso in Inverleith Park. With so many fixtures in this league going unfulfilled, it is difficult to gauge how matches will go based on league position, but with the Entertainers on the field, it should be a worthy spectacle.

Onwards & upwards!
