Accies 1st XV 17-30 Aberdeen 1st XV
There was a cold wind blowing across the pitch at Rubislaw and the final result did nothing to warm us. However, reports from spectators and the coaching squad indicate there were many positives to take away from the game and we are already looking ahead to Jed this weekend.

2nd XV 53-17 Boroughmuir 2nd XV
A young 2nd XV team showed determination and some flair in a more even game against Boroughmuir than the final score would indicate. Although we looked fairly certain of the win for most of the game, Boroughmuir kept it farily tight until about the last 20 minutes, when they were down to 13 men (through injuries) and we took full advantage of the situation with a rampant display of try-scoring.

Man of the Match for the 2nd XV was Ross McConnell.

3rd XV 35-17 Watsonians 2nd XV
Despite a rocky start numbers-wise, we ended up with 18 players turning out, meaning we got three teams out on a Saturday when 22 players were unavailable - no mean feat. Thank you to all those players who answered the last minute call. The Entertainers did what they do best - entertained the spectators and had fun, epitomising social rugby. As our only team at home on Saturday, the 3s were the first to experience post-match hospitality at Dean Bowling Club. Pleasingly, most of our players and a large proportion of the Watsonian squad repaired to the Bowling Club and we have recevied very positive reports about the facilities and the welcome.

Dean Bowling Club
Please note that we will be using the Bowling Club for any home fixtures we have before the development is handed over. On those occasions, the clubhouse will be open from 12:00 for pre-match refreshments, as well as for post-match teas and beer. Please do take advantage of this.

This week both the 1st and 2nd XVs are away to Jed-Forest and the 3rds have a week off.

Onwards and upwards!
