Despite a strong start on Saturday, with an early try, and a determined performance, we could not prevent Hawick capitalising on a few mistakes and taking the victory in the final moments of the game. However, we scored four tries and at least earned ourselves two bonus points.

Accies 2nd XV 46-22 Musselburgh

A tighter game for the 2nds away to Musselburgh, conceding our greatest number of points in a game so far this season, but we held firm and still came away with a bonus point win. We are top of the league but second-place Currie have a game in hand.

Accies 3rd XV 34-32 Ferry Road Wanderers
Ferry Road Wanderers were always going to be our most serious contenders this season, being an amalgamation of Stew-Mel and Heriot's 3rd XVs, and so it proved on Saturday. In an exciting game, with the scores flip-flopping from one side to the other, we were down 32-27 in the dying minutes of the match. Then a last minute try by Jack Doherty evened the points and Jonny Baine kicked the extras to secure the victory as the final whistle went. Great stuff by the Entertainers!

Onwards & upwards!
