Support the New Development and Encourage the 1st XV

Fundraising Initiative for Raeburn Place Foundation

Long-time Accies' supporter and local Stockbridge resident, Tony Cook, has thought of an innovative way to contribute to the capital appeal to redevelop Raeburn Place. Tony has pledged to donate £10 to Raeburn Place Foundation (RPF), the charity responsible for the redevelopment, for every point the 1st XV wins by, in every game they play for the remainder of the season.

As well as making a contribution to the capital appeal, Tony hopes his idea will give the team "an incentive to keep a clean sheet and also to keep scoring until the last minute."

In last week's game against GHA, we won by 21 points (28-7), so Tony would have been due £210. With the team keen to secure bonus point wins and maintain their strong defensive reputation, no doubt they will see Tony's commitment as an added bonus.

Tony would love to see his idea catch on, with other Club members, supporters and local residents getting involved. If you would like to match Tony's pledge (or make a similar one), please contact RPF's Community Development Manager, Stuart Baillie, for more information.
