SRU 'Super Six' and 'Agenda 3' Update

Scottish Rugby has now relesaed further information about Agenda 3 and the Super 6 franchises, which we are sharing with members so they have as much information as is available about these proposals, which will have far-reaching consequences for club rugby in Scotland.

The Club Committe, comprising the Board, the Rugby Board and players' representatives, met last night (Wednesday 22 November) to discuss first responses to Scottish Rugby's papers. Various members will attend Scottish Rugby's roadshow on 30 November, when the clubs will be able to ask questions about a Super Six franchise application. We will obtain as much detail as possible to allow Accies to make an informed decision about our future.

The next meeting to discuss these proposals is scheduled for 18 December, following which a further update will be provided to members.

Please be aware that no decision will be made about the Club's future until members have been consulted.
