Playing Membership

COVID-19: Limited training is currently underway at Raeburn Place in accordance with Government advice and with the necessary protocols and safety precautions in place.

One of these protocols is to ensure training attendees register in advance of the session. Anyone is welcome to join but you should contact the Director of Rugby (see below) first if you would like to start training with Edinburgh Accies.

Under normal circumstances, training takes place at Raeburn Place every Tuesday and Thursday at 18:45 from mid-June.

Remote sessions are in place for existing players until club training can restart and we would welcome new players as well.

If you are interested in joining the Club, please contact our Director of Rugby (dor@edinburghaccies.com).

The Edinburgh Academical Football Club, the oldest rugby club in Scotland, welcomes new players of all levels into the Club.

We run three senior sides each week and cater for all levels of rugby, from those wanting to play socially to those looking to develop their game further.

Whether you are an experienced player or a talented, motivated and ambitious young player, and feel you have what it takes to become a member of our 1st XV of the future, we would like to hear from you.

We are committed to quality coaching at all levels and have a team of dedicated and experienced coaches, with up to SRU Level 4 qualifications, who will help you progress your game in a player-focussed performance environment, targeting individual player development.
