Our vision for The Place is to become a thriving community hub where everyone is welcome to join us for some food and drink, a private event or class or just a quiet coffee with friends, family or over work.

Edinburgh Accies has a rich and proud history in rugby and are renowned as a welcoming and family-friendly club.
The rugby club aims to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment open to all and underpinned by long-term financial stability. A significant milestone in this effort is opening our new community Café, Clubhouse & Bar, The Place, in 2021.
Events At The Place
The Place is a spacious and flexible venue in the heart of Stockbridge and our experienced team aim to cater for your needs, from business meetings to birthday parties and wakes. You’ll find magnificent views, a fine selection of food & drinks and a warm welcome every time!
Catering
Our standard events menu offers the choice of various hot and cold Canapés and Bowl Food to cater for informal events but we can cater for more formal gatherings and private dining upon request. Check out our menus here.
Please note that we do not currently do 18th birthday parties and Saturday’s are only available during the rugby season by exception - typically September to March.
Facility Hire
There are 4 standard options for space hire within The Place:
The Full Place
Suitable for up to 150 people for a sit down event or 200 for a more casual setting.
The Raeburn Space
Suitable for up to 60 people for a sit down event or 100 for a more casual setting.
The White Room
Suitable for up to 22 people for private dining or 30 for a more casual event.
The Meeting Room
Suitable for up to 12 people sitting boardroom style.
