All players are expected to become members in order to be selected for any team.
Adult players will receive the same benefits as a Standard Club Member including Voting Rights and a Membership Card which offers a 10% discount on food, drinks, event & facility hire at The Place. Playing members will receive an exclusive additional discount of 10% off all draught lager at The Place (so 20% total). The Club reserves the right to adjust this discount within the membership year.
How Does It Work? Membership is drawn in 2 instalments, the first when initially signed up and the 2nd automatically 1 month later. Playing members will be sent an e-mail for each instalment collected and payments will cease automatically after 2 payments. Playing members will receive full member benefits from the first instalment and this will extend for the full membership year as long as all payments are collected. Playing members can cancel subscriptions at any time with membership benefits ceasing at the time of cancellation.
What Kit Is Included? Players will receive the Club’s standard kit pack once all membership payments have been received. Additional or replacement kit will be available to purchase online. Once the season starts there will be an option to join without the kit pack, targeting social players.
Player membership rates and benefits are aimed and priced towards younger players and as such we have set an age limit of 35 years. We welcome players beyond this age at all levels but we have found that senior players are traditionally happy to join under one of the Club’s higher fee non-playing memberships as they become financially able to do so, and transition into more social involvement in the Club. All over-35s playing members will receive the same benefits as under-35 players under this membership if joining under one of the options available here.
